USC Lion Coaching Applications
USC Lion Volleyball Club is currently seeking expressions of interest for all coaching roles for Season 2021.
All applications should be sent to – email@example.com
If you have coached at USC Lion in the past, or if you are interested in coaching in future, we encourage all interested to complete a formal application. The club seeks expressions from external candidates as well as internal candidates and aims to appoint the best possible coaching structure and experience for our athletes.
USC Lion Volleyball Club also seeks to ensure that any appointed coaches possess the required competencies per VSA guidelines: http://www.volleyballsa.com.au/assets/downloads/SL%20Coach%20Requirements%202016%20-2018.pdf
The club will work with coaches to ensure successful completion of all required competencies/training/accreditation with the view to ensuring that all athletes representing USC Lion Volleyball Club are provided with appropriately qualified coaches and in turn, the best possible volleyball experience.
Play by The Rules Online Learning
USC Lion Volleyball Club aims to keep sport safe, fair and inclusive. All coaches are to complete the Play by the Rules online training section for everyone involved in sport and recreation organisations.
Play by the Rules offers free courses on some of the most important topics in sport, including: child protection, harassment and discrimination.
By taking these courses you will upgrade your knowledge and skills, which will help to create safer, fairer and more inclusive environments for all people involved in sport.

Coaches are to provide copies of certificates of completion for both modules.
VSA has introduced a requirement for all coaches to complete DCSI screening. USC Lion Volleyball Club supports this approach, and seeks to ensure that all Club Coaches possess a current Child Related Employment Screening.
